Description

Gas Cells for Small FT-IRs and Field Deployable Gas Analysis Systems International Crystal Laboratories (ICL) has created special optical interfaces for small size FT-IR spectrophotometers useful for gas analysis systems. These FT-IR spectrophotometers require adaptations to accommodate large accessories such as long path gas cells. These interfaces for these small FT-IR compartments enable use with such FT-IRs as Bruker’s Alpha (pictured), Thermo’s IS5, and PerkinElmer’s Spectrum Two, which facilitate their use as components of compact rack mountable, field deployable gas analysis systems. Pictured is the Bruker Alpha and a heated ICL gas cell mounted with a custom optical interface which createsa purge zone between the cell and the spectrophotometer, contains f-matching transfer optics for excellent throughput and insulates the high temperature cell from the transfer optics and spectrometer.
